Treatment Classification:

Therapeutic application of ultrasound waves with selected parameters.

Treatment Process:

A trained healthcare professional treats a specific area of the client's body with a special ultrasound head designated by the doctor. Ultrasound causes micro-massage of tissues, accompanied by simultaneous heating at the site of application. The result is increased blood flow and tissue nourishment, relaxation of muscle contractures, scar correction, anti-inflammatory effects, and pain reduction in musculoskeletal disorders.

Main Indications:

Vertebrogenic algic syndrome, arthrosis, joint effusions (swellings), myalgia (muscle pain), chronic rheumatic inflammations, Dupuytren's contracture, epicondylitis, bone diseases, some skin conditions.

Main Contraindications:

Pregnancy, bleeding of any origin, tuberculosis, diagnosis of tumor + chemotherapy (at the discretion of the doctor), epilepsy, hematologic diseases, hypotension, cardiopulmonary decompensation, application is not performed on organs such as the brain, heart, and eyes, epiphyses of growing bones in children, and on nerves and bony projections just under the skin.
